The Congress manifesto, 'Nyay Patra', was presented today by P. Chidambaram, the head of the Congress manifesto committee and former Union Finance Minister, emphasizing the party's capability to regain power after the Lok Sabha polls, with a statement that "Congress has achieved it previously and can do so again," as reported by Economic Times.

Expressing sorrow over the lack of justice in the past decade, particularly in the last five years, it was remarked by Chidambaram that "We are not prophets, but we regret to acknowledge that our predictions made in 2019 have materialized in 2024."
The erosion of institutions, the loss of privileges for marginalized groups, and the progression towards autocracy were highlighted. While expressing dissatisfaction with the fulfillment of their predictions, the party's endeavor to introduce fresh commitments through their manifesto for a rejuvenated India was noted, as per media reports.
The 'Nyay Patra' manifesto is grounded in the principles of 'Work, Wealth, and Welfare' due to the pressing demand for employment nationwide. The stagnant wages and unchanging average income of the lower percentile over the past decade were pointed out by Chidambaram. It was reiterated that "Congress has succeeded in the past, and we are confident we will succeed again."
