Congress likely to contest RR Nagar, Jayanagar polls alone

All eyes are on the elections that would be held at Jayanagar and Rajarajeshwari Nagar. The Congress which in an alliance with the JD(S) has hinted that it is likely to fight the two elections alone. Our candidates are in the fray there, Dr. G Parameshwar, the KPCC chief told reporters.

He further said that ahead of the government formation there was a proposal to create the post of two Deputy Chief Ministers. Nothing has been decided as yet, he also said. He said that neither the names or the regions to which the two candidates for the posts of deputy CMs have been decided as yet.
