In an alarming episode that has sent shockwaves through the political landscape of Punjab, a local Congress leader was brutally gunned down in his own home. The incident occurred on September 18th in Dalla village, Moga district, where Baljinder Singh Balli resided. Balli, aged 45 and serving as the president of the Congress party's Ajitwal block in Moga district, was fatally shot by an unidentified assailant who forcefully entered his residence.

The chilling event was captured on CCTV footage which purportedly shows the attacker firing at Balli before making a hasty escape. Rising Gun Crime and Law & Order Situation
This tragic event brings into focus once again concerns about escalating gun violence in Punjab under @AAPPunjab government. Bajwa, in his social media post, pointedly criticized the state government and directly held Chief Minister @BhagwantMann responsible for the deteriorating law and order situation.
"Ever since @AAPPunjab formed the government in Punjab, the law and order situation has collapsed completely. Gun crime in the state has been on the rise," he wrote.
