Shrinate emphasized during a press conference that the Congress party is seeking justice for the women allegedly exploited. She highlighted the seriousness of the accusations, noting that less than 24 hours after Prime Minister Modi was sworn in for his third term, grave charges of sexual exploitation had been levelled against a prominent BJP office bearer, the head of its IT cell.

Congress called for the immediate removal of Amit Malviya from his influential position, underscoring the gravity of the situation. In response to the allegations, a suit was filed by Amit Malviya against Shantanu Sinha, the individual purportedly making the accusations.

The legal notice addressed the offensive nature of the allegations, asserting that they falsely accused Malviya of sexual misconduct and caused significant harm to his dignity and reputation. Malviya, being a public figure due to his professional role, stated that the allegations were fatally injurious.

Malviya also responded to the situation, indicating that since the Congress and the Trinamool Congress (TMC) in West Bengal had held a press conference regarding the slanderous allegations, a three-day notice had been issued, which was set to end on June 11. He noted that appropriate action would follow after the notice period concluded.
