Congress could have averted Parliament ruckus: Majithia

Carving a new state out of an existing one involves much care, foresight and above all willingness of people but the decision of Congress lacked all these essential components so the result is evident, state Cabinet Minister Bikram Singh Majithia alleged.
Division of states took place during NDA tenure as well but the process went on smoothly as a consensus was evolved on the issue, Majithia said. A bit of homework on part of Congress could have averted the pandemonium, he said.
Terming the incident as the most disgraceful and sad, Majithia said that the UPA government is hell-bent on passing the Bill even though it meant suspension or expulsion of its own members, which is even more appalling.
