Congress Candidates For Odisha Lok Sabha And Assembly Elections: 2 For LS, 8 For Assembly
A list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections from Odisha and elections to the legislative assembly of the state was released by the Congress, with two candidates announced for Lok Sabha seats and eight for assembly seats.
Nagendra Pradhan and Suresh Mohapatra have been fielded by the party to contest from Sambalpur and Cuttack LS seats respectively, as reported by Economic Times.

Congress Candidates For Odisha Lok Sabha And Assembly Elections
According to the candidate list released by AICC's Central Election Committee, the Jaleswar assembly segment will see former MLA Debi Prasad Chand as the contestant, while Monalisa Lenka will contest from the Balasore assembly seat. Pramod Kumar Hembram has been selected to contest from the Baripada assembly seat in place of Badal Hembram.
Ajay Samal has been fielded in the Barachana assembly constituency and Fakir Samal will contest from the Pallhara seat. MLA Md Moquim has been chosen to contest from the Barabati-Cuttack constituency while Pratima Mallick will fight from the Jagatsinghpur assembly segment, as reported by the Economic Times.
Manoj Kumar Pradhan has been replaced by Baijayantimala Mohanty for the Khandapara assembly constituency. Assembly and Lok Sabha elections will be held simultaneously in Odisha in four phases, starting from Phase One on May 13, Phase Two on May 20, Phase Three on May 25, and the final Phase on June 1, as per media reports.
The results will be announced on June 4. In the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, the maximum number of seats (12) was secured by the Biju Janata Dal (BJD), followed by the BJP (8) and the Congress managed only one seat.
