Congress puts on hold ticket to Digvijay Singh's son-in-law

Hours after he released the third list of 59 Congress candidates which had Parmar's name, party general secretary Madhusudan Mistry told PTI that the ticket had been put on hold.
There was no immediate reason given, but party sources said it could be trouble at the local level.
Congress announced its third list of candidates for Lok Sabha elections on Tuesday evening. Tainted leaders Suresh Kalmadi and Ashok Chavan were denied tickets.
However, the party didn't disclose who will be contesting from Varanasi, against BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
