Cong will take appropriate action in graft charges against CM Rawat: Vijay Bahuguna
Dehradun, Jul 23: Reacting to the sting operation video released by BJP accusing Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat of corruption in liquor licences, his predecessor Vijay Bahuguna today said Congress High Command would take appropriate action over it.
The Congress High Command would take appropriate action over the allegations, Bahuguna said, demanding that the official purportedly shown in the video bargaining with middlemen and private liquor distributors should be immediately removed.

Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman earlier today released a CD of the sting operation in which Rawat's personal secretary Mohammad Shahid is shown purportedly bargaining with middlemen and private liquor distributors about the commission to be given to him for allowing them instead of government undertakings to distribute liquor in Dehradun.
