Cong stays away from exit poll debates

"In keeping with our tradition, we won't participate in these exit polls. The last time, exit polls gave us 68 seats less than what we got," Congress spokesperson Shakeel Ahmad today said.
All the exit polls predicted a victory for the BJP-led coalition. In 2009, the exit polls had wrongly predicted a victory for NDA.
Today, no Congress leader participated in the exit poll debates in TV channels.
The BJP, led by its prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, is expected to score the most number of seats. But none of the exit polls say if NDA would get enough number of seats to form a government.
