Confident of forming govt in Bihar, says BJP's Ram Madhav

New Delhi, Nov 8: As early trends suggest that the BJP and its allies are all set to form the government, leaders of the party say that the people have voted for development.

BJP's spokesperson, Sambit Patra informed that it was not they who communalized the elections by raking up the Dadri episode.

'Confident of forming govt in Bihar'

The Dadri episode was unfortunate, but what was the need to connect it to Bihar, Patra asked. It was Lalu Prasad Yadav who tried to polarize the votes by raking up the Dadri issue, Patra also informed.

Meanwhile, General secretary of the BJP, Ram Madhav said that the early trends do suggest that the BJP will form the government with a simple majority.

Although it is too early to conclude anything, we still feel that we will form the government with a simple majority, the party's general secretary informed over telephone.

Madhav also said that we have always relied on development as our agenda and have done the same in Bihar as well. There were ample attempts that were made to derail the agenda of development, but the voter realized that and favoured the BJP and its allies.

One must remember that the voter is very wise and has chosen development over propaganda, Ram Madhav further added.
