Complete Schedule For Assembly Elections In Andhra, Arunachal, Sikkim And Odisha
The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Saturday announced dates and schedules for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024 and Assembly Elections for four states. Addressing the nation, Chief Election Commission Rajiv Kumar said assembly elections for Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Andhra Pradesh, and Arunachal Pradesh will also be held between April 19 to June 1, along with the General Elections.
Voting for Arunachal Pradesh's 60 assembly seats and 2 Lok Sabha seats will be held simultaneously on April 19. He added that 32 assembly seats of Sikkim will also undergo polling on the same day. While voting for Andhra Pradesh's 175 assembly seats will take place on May 13.

Odisha state assembly will witness polling in two phases on May 25 and June 1. In both rounds, 42-42 seats will go under polling, announced the chief election commissioner.
The CEC informed the media that election commission officials have made all the necessary arrangements and heavy security forces will be deployed in all the regions to ensure fair and rigorous free elections. The Election body made it clear that despite serving notices in the past, many leaders violated the Model Code of Conduct, but this time the Election Commission will not only warn them but also take stringent actions against the defaulters.
With the announcement of the dates, the Model Code of Conduct has come into force and now every action or statement from political parties and their leaders would be monitored by the Election Commission of India.
Rajiv Kumar added that the election body has appointed 2100 observers for to keep an eye closely on elections.
The results for Arunachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Sikkim, and Odisha assembly elections and all 7 phases of polling for 543 seats of Lok Sabha will be announced together on June 4, said Chief Election Commissioner.
