July 26th celebrated as Kargil Vijay Diwas, is a day of remembrance for the sacrifices made by the brave soldiers who defended our nation in 1999.

101 Regular Course: Motorcycle Expedition Honors Kargil War Heroes
In the interview, Vishal Batra recounts the profound sacrifice of his twin brother, Captain Vikram Batra, during the 1999 Kargil War. Notably, as the year marks the 25th anniversary of that pivotal conflict, a group of 12 of Captain Batra's coursemates from the Indian Military Academy's 101 Regular Course has embarked on a commemorative motorcycle expedition.
Setting off from Chandigarh, these riders pay homage to the fallen heroes and comrades who made the ultimate sacrifice during the Kargil War, embodying the commitment to national sovereignty. Their journey through the challenging Kargil terrain stands as a tribute to the fierce battles fought and the lives lost in the defense of our nation.
