The account quickly grabbed attention after posting cryptic messages hinting at its earlier suspension. One post read, "The reason why they blocked us," while another mocked the suspension itself with the caption: "You thought you can get rid of us? Lol."
The posts were accompanied by AI-generated cockroach-themed visuals, continuing the bizarre online persona that had already become a meme across X.

The earlier cockroach-themed account had become popular for posting satirical content, memes and AI-generated images that many users found absurdly funny. Its sudden disappearance sparked reactions across X, with users joking that "cockroaches always survive."
The launch of the new account appears to be directly playing into that meme narrative. Within a short time, screenshots of the account started circulating widely, helping it gain thousands of followers rapidly.
The new account continues to heavily use AI-generated imagery and dramatic captions, a trend that has increasingly become common among viral meme pages on X. Social media users have been sharing the posts with reactions ranging from amusement to confusion.
Many users also joked that the "Cockroach Cinematic Universe" had officially begun after the account's return.
Cockroach Janata Party X Account Withheld In India
Earlier on Thursday, the X account of the viral satirical political platform Cockroach Janata Party was officially withheld in India following a legal demand. Founder Abhijeet Dipke confirmed the development through a social media post.
"As expected Cockroach Janta Party's account has been withheld in India," Dipke wrote.
Users trying to access the original CJP account from India are now seeing a notice stating that the account has been withheld in response to legal demands.
Instagram Growth Continues Despite X Restriction
While the X account now faces restrictions in India, the movement's Instagram page continues witnessing explosive growth online. The Cockroach Janata Party Instagram account has reportedly crossed 13 million followers, surpassing the official Instagram page of the Bharatiya Janata Party, which has around 8 million followers. In the latest update, founder Abhijeet Dipke has also claimed that attempts were allegedly being made to hack the Instagram account again.

The movement became one of India's biggest internet talking points within days, especially among younger users. Much of its popularity came from political memes, satire around unemployment, institutions and media independence, combined with aggressive meme-sharing culture across social media platforms.
How The 'Cockroach Janata Party' Trend Began
The satirical movement was launched on May 16, shortly after controversy erupted online over remarks allegedly made by Chief Justice of India Surya Kant involving the words "cockroaches" and "parasites" during a court hearing.
The remarks triggered widespread online debate, particularly among younger internet users, eventually leading to the creation of the Cockroach Janata Party meme ecosystem.
Since then, the movement has evolved from a joke meme page into a wider online satire platform discussing politics, unemployment and institutional criticism.
Who Is Behind The Viral Movement?
According to reports, Abhijeet Dipke is a 30-year-old public relations student at Boston University. Reports also state that he had previously volunteered with the social media team of the Aam Aadmi Party between 2020 and 2023.
The movement's rapid popularity has also drawn attention from political figures online. Leaders such as Mahua Moitra and Kirti Azad were jokingly "admitted" into the satirical party by supporters online.
'Cockroach Is Back' Fuels New Meme Wave
The sudden emergence of the "Cockroach is Back" account has now added a new layer to the meme movement. Social media users have started calling it the "return of CJP," with many joking that "cockroaches never die."
AI-generated posters, fake political slogans and parody campaign-style posts continue circulating widely across X and Instagram, keeping the bizarre online movement alive despite the India restriction on its original X handle.
