Investigation Launched After Class 5 Student Allegedly Poisoned by Youths in Pilibhit
A Class 5 student was reportedly forced to ingest poison by three individuals on a motorcycle while she was heading to school in Pilibhit's Jehanabad area, according to police reports. The incident occurred around 9 am near JMB College. Ramgopal, from Suswar village, stated that his niece, Anshika, aged 13 and daughter of Ramautar from Devipura village in Gajraula, was the victim.

The attackers allegedly stopped Anshika on the road and compelled her to consume a toxic substance before escaping. City Circle Officer Deepak Chaturvedi suggested that the attack might be related to a family land dispute. The girl's father is involved in an ongoing land division disagreement with her uncle, which could have motivated the attack.
Investigation and Evidence Gathering
Superintendent of Police Avinash Pandey mentioned that evidence is being collected through CCTV footage and surveillance data. Four police teams have been established to investigate further. "We are gathering evidence based on the CCTV footage and surveillance data. Four police teams have been formed and action will be taken against the accused if the incident is verified," said Pandey.
Chaturvedi visited the hospital where Anshika was admitted in critical condition. Fortunately, doctors have now reported her condition as stable. He assured her family that swift action would be taken against those responsible for the attack. A thorough investigation into the incident is currently underway to ensure justice for Anshika and her family.
