Clash in Panrui between TMC and BJP leaves one injured
Suri(WB), Jan 14: A clash broke out between the supporters of Trinamool Congress and BJP near Panrui in Birbhum district today. Police sources said, the supporters allegedly hurled bombs at each other near Sattor bus stand area. Asgar Seikh, son of local Trinamool leader Mostafa Seikh was reportedly injured in the incident.

"A clash between two groups took place today near Sattor bus stand, but the situation in under control now. We have come to know that a man has been injured in the incident and we are trying to verify it," said SDPO, Bolpur, Amlankusum Ghosh. BJP and Trinamool Congress supporters had hurled crude bombs against each other at the Belpata village near Chowmandalpur (Panrui) yesterday, where Babar Ali, a BJP supporter, was admitted to Suri hospital after he sustained splinter injuries.
A huge police contingent from Bolpur had rushed to the area to contain the situation.
