The incident occurred during the checking of Kangana's mobile and purse, as learned through media sources by Sher Singh Mahival, who stated that he now understands the context. It was noted that Kangana had previously commented during the farmers' protest that women were present for ₹100. Sher Singh Mahival expressed that, after the argument, his sister must have become emotionally angry, which resulted in the incident. Both soldiers and farmers, he emphasized, are important and fulfill their duties in every way, expressing full support for his sister in this matter.

Meanwhile, Shivraj Singh Bains, a Punjab businessman, has announced a reward of ₹1 lakh for the woman constable for slapping the Bollywood actor.
