'China Has Taken Away India’s Land, PM Modi Is Lying’: Rahul Gandhi In Kargil
Addressing a public rally in Kargil, Rahul Gandhi, Congress party leader, accused the Modi government of spreading falsehoods regarding the China issue.
In a previous instance on Sunday (August 20), Rahul Gandhi had criticised the Modi government concerning the border dispute with China, stating, "The Prime Minister said - not an inch of land (in Ladakh) has been lost, that is not true." He elaborated on this during his current rally, saying, "Here people are asserting that the Chinese army has encroached on our land. They mentioned that the land previously used for grazing is now off-limits. The Prime Minister's claim of not losing any land is inaccurate. Anyone you ask in Ladakh will corroborate this."

Gandhi asserted that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) are propagating animosity in India, while Congress is actively promoting peace and harmony across the nation.
"Several months ago, we embarked on the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' journey from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. Its purpose was to stand against the hatred and violence propagated by the BJP-RSS in the country. The message that resonated from this journey was - 'nafrat ke bazaar mein hum mohabbat ki dukaan kholne nikle hain.' I witnessed this firsthand over the last few days. During the Yatra, I couldn't visit Ladakh due to winter snow. Nonetheless, the desire to conduct the yatra in Ladakh was in my heart, and I fulfilled it this time on a motorcycle."
"Ladakh possesses abundant solar energy, and the BJP knows this. This pertains to land, and they intend to seize it from you," remarked Rahul Gandhi during his address at the Kargil rally.
He continued, "I conversed with numerous laborers, and they all conveyed that though they are thousands of kilometers away from their homes, Ladakh feels like a second home. They shared that the people of Ladakh consistently extend their help, as it's ingrained in your DNA. While other leaders are engaged in their 'Mann Ki Baat' (referring to the Prime Minister's radio show), I aimed to listen to your 'Mann Ki Baat'. It's evident - Gandhi Ji and the Congress ideology are deeply rooted in Ladakh's essence and DNA."
"You told me that your political voice is being suppressed. Despite becoming a Union Territory, you're being stripped of your rights. You informed me that the employment promises made to you were hollow," Rahul Gandhi expressed during his Kargil address today.
Rahul further affirmed that while the BJP may be stifling the voice of the people of Ladakh, the Congress party stands in solidarity with them, providing unwavering support in securing their rights.
