Chilling CCTV footage released: When a woman techie was robbed in an ATM in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, May 21: Within 24 hours of the robbery in an ATM, Hyderabad Police on Thursday, May 21 released a chilling CCTV footage which captured the entire robbery episode.

Lalitha, an employee of a private tech firm, went to an ATM around 7:30 am. Before she withdrew any amount, an unknown assailant was seen entering the ATM. The accused asked money from Lalitha.

The man, who had covered his face with a handkerchief, took out his firearm and fired on the wall of the ATM. Lalitha got scared as the man was seen snatching her gold ornaments, mobile phone and debit card.

Later he tried to withdraw money from Lalitha's ATM account. However, he could not withdraw money due to some technical snag and he left the ATM.
