London, Jan 5: A six-year-old boy, survivor of the plane crash that claimed lives of both of his parents in UK's Hamshire county is critically ill and fighting for life at a hospital. The child suffered multiple injuries in the tragedy in which a light aircraft carrying the child and his parents reportedly came down and overturned in a patch of woodland half a mile south of A303 (road) amid bad weather on Saturday afternoon.

Aviation experts said the pilot of the plane, believed to have been the boy's father, was attempting an emergency landing on a grass airstrip because conditions had become treacherous whilst they had been airborne.
