Chhattisgarh: Tough competition between BJP-Congress

Raipur, Dec 8: Although it is very early to decide on the election results in Chhattisgarh,

leads by 9 seats here and

By 7 seats.

This could be a turning point, but experts bank on the tough competition that is underlying the situation. The deciding factor is Bastar's 12 seats, which pins the hopes of Congress.

Experts further believe that that if Congress manages to win maximum votes here, things would be different for Chhattisgarh. However, BJP may still have a good chance to win, given the fact that Raman Singh has done considerable work in the state.
