Chhattisgarh: Seven security personnel injured in IED blast
Seven security personnel were injured in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast in Chhattisgarh's Balrampur region on Thursday.
Out of the seven injured, five personnel are of CRPF and two from Jharkhand police. The blast took place at Pipardhaba village of the naxal infested state.
Naxals may have triggered the blast, although, official confirmation is awaited.
In March this year, 11 CRPF jawans were martyred in an IED blast after they were ambushed by Maoists in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district.
On November 13, Two Assam Rifles jawans were killed in an IED explosion during patrolling near Manipur's Chandel district
