Chhattisgarh: Naxals torch passenger bus in Bijapur
A passenger bus was set on fire in Bijapur's Todempara district in Chhattisgarh. No casualties were reported. A group of 10-15 Naxals torched the private bus on Thursday night.

This comes two days after a firing that took place between the Naxals and the police in a forest in Chhattisgarh's insurgency-hit Bijapur district. However, no casualties were reported on either side during the encounter. Police recovered a pipe bomb from the spot after the gun-battle.
In the month of May in a similar incident, Naxals torched a bus after asking passengers to alight in Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur district while seven rebels were arrested following a face-off with police in a nearby area.
