In a significant move aimed at empowering women and improving their socio-economic status, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Chhattisgarh has announced the launch of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. This welfare scheme will provide married women with a monthly financial assistance of Rs 1,000, marking a fulfillment of one of the key promises made by the party during the last assembly elections.

Increased Remuneration for Tendu Leaf Collectors
In another significant decision, the Chhattisgarh cabinet has approved an increase in the remuneration given to tendu leaf collectors. The remuneration has been hiked from Rs 4,000 per standard sack to Rs 5,500 per standard sack, providing much-needed financial relief to these hardworking individuals.
New Social Security Scheme for Tendu Leaf Collectors

Implementation of Bharat BH Series Vehicle Registration
