Chhattisgarh: Demanding samosa brought death to a 3 year old

was axed to death for demanding Samosa from a neighbour last Thursday. According to the police, the accused- Aghanu- took the kid and his own son out at 4 pm for a samosa treat.

However, he gave samosa to his own child, he offered just biscuits to 2 year old Gajendra-his neighbour's child. Demanding for one, Ganjendra began crying.

Getting irritated, Aghanu axed him on his chest, waist and the back. The child died on the spot due to excessive loss of blood, said police officer K. N Sharma. This came to the notice of the chid's mother when she came in search of him. She immediately informed the police, who took the accused into custody and filed a case against him under section 302, 429 and started the investigation. The accused has confessed to the crime.
