Chennai: Tamil Actress's husband kidnaps son, police help sought

, Feb 6: Charmila, a Tamil actress who worked in movies as -- 'UnnaiK ann Theduthe', 'Manasae Mounnama,' 'Oyilattam ' and 'Kizhakae Varum Pattu, moved Chennai Police seeking help to rescue her son.

Charmila informed police that her estranged husband Rajesh had "kidnapped" their son Adonis Jude on Jan 24. According to the actress, a resident of Saligramam, her husband is a businessman and forcibly took away Jude and made him captive.

"He had been constantly torturing me and now he has taken away my son," said the actress while informing that she had separated from her husband for his unruly behaviour.

"I live only for my son,. My son has a wheezing problem and I only want that he should be taken care of well," said the actress.

Accusing her in-laws, the actress added, "They (her in-laws ) are also trying to convert my son to their religion."

Chennai Police officials informed that petition of the actress has been forwarded from the police commissioner S George to Vadapalani assistant commissioner of police.
