Chennai rains: Semester exams postponed

The Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University has also postponed Friday’s examinations and the has registrar said that the new “date will be announced later”.

Owing to overnight showers for about ten hours in Chennai several educational institutions have put-off the semester exams scheduled for Friday.

Schools and colleges, which are closed since 31 October due to rains, have been shut today as well in Chennai, Kancheepuram and Tiruvallur districts.

The Directorate of Technical Education postponed the polytechnic exams scheduled on Friday.

The exams for the University of Madras and its constituent colleges are postponed.
Ethiraj College for Women and Loyola College has also postponed its semester exam for the day.

The revised date will be announced late, according to the registrar of Anna University.
