Chennai Horror: 19-year-old BTech student ragged, commits suicide

Chennai, Nov 22: A 19-year-old BTech student committed suicide. He was a resident of Hyderabad. The deceased has been identified as V Krishna Chaitanya, a second-year BTech student of a college in Chennai.

It has been reported that Krishna killed self as he was a victim of ragging. His seniors in college allegedly had ragged the young student who could not tell the truth to his parents and committed suicide.

Krishna used to maintain a diary in which his suicide note has been found. It has been reported that Krishna mentioned about his seniors who allegedly "harassed" him in college.

Krishna had gone to Hyderabad to celebrate Diwali with his family members. He could not return to Chennai due to heavy rains in the city.

One day he along with his parents had gone out. While he was returning back to him on his bike, his parents were in a car. When they reached home, they found Krishna's body hanging from ceiling fan.

It has been reported that Krishna's seniors allegedly had forced him to spend his pocket money on them. Krishna allegedly was forced to buy new mobile phones and pay mess and mobile phone bill for his seniors.
