Chennai, Dec 3: Normal life has been crippled in Chennai as incessant rain continues to pound the capital city of Tamil Nadu. All train, flight services from and to Chennai have been suspended.
The unprecedented torrential downpour forced all navigational aids within the airfield to be switched off due to water logging, leaving only the secondary surveillance radar available.
Army, navy and NDRF personnel continue their relief work to rescue people who are stranded at different places across the city.
Meanwhile, a Live map has been launched to help people in the city. Whoever will navigate through the map, will be able to see a clear picture of the current situation and will be able to avoid waterlogged areas and roads.
This map of Chennai is a crowdfunded effort to keep people updated about the waterlogged areas in the city.
