Chennai-Doha IndiGo flight suffers bird hit

A Doha-bound IndiGo flight on Thursday from Chennai with 134 passengers and 7 cabin crew members onboard suffered a bird hit soon after takeoff, forcing the pilot to return.

IndiGo flight took off from Chennai at 2:15 AM and suffered a bird hit.

The aircraft suffered a damage. The plane was later grounded in Chennai airport.

Meanwhile, the IndiGo's engineers were assessing the extent of the damage. The passengers were accommodated on a different flight to Doha by 4:30 AM.
