in Chennai. According to sources, the actor was rushed to Apollo Hospital with symptoms of food poisoning.

Latest reports on Tuesday, Sept 16 informed that the 59-year-old actor stable now and he will be discharged either today or tomorrow, depending on his condition.

Earlier there were reports that the actor has been suffering from any neurological ailments. However, his close aides dismissed all reports terming them "rumours".

Despite tremendous efforts by media to get more information about the actor's health, the hospital authorities did not disclose any information as they have been maintaining complete silence.

Earlier another Tamil superstar Rajinikanth too was admitted to hospital in Chennai. Later, he was released. Rajinikanth had suffered from dehydration and food poisoning.
