Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav's son and former Bihar health minister Tej Pratap Yadav is all st to tie the knot with Aishwarya Rai on May 12. Aishwarya is the daughter of Chandrika Roy, a six-time RJD legislator and former cabinet colleague of Lalu Yadav.
On Wednesday night, a lavish mehendi ceremony was held hosted by the bride's family in Patna.

The venue for the marriage is Patna's Veterinary College grounds, the same place opted by Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi for his son's marriage, after threats from Tej Pratap.
Meanwhile, the former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD chief Lalu Yadav, is on a five-day parole to attend his son's wedding. Lalu Yadav is serving a 14-year sentence after being convicted in several fodder scam cases.

On April 18, the couple got engaged in a grand ceremony, with almost 200 guests in attendance, including Tej Pratap Yadav's mother, Rabri Devi. The event was held at Hotel Maurya, in Patna.
Aishwarya Rai is the eldest daughter of RJD leader Chandrika Prasad Rai. Tej Pratap's mother Rabri Devi, who is also an RJD leader and former Bihar chief minister, had finalised the marriage in March following consultations with Aishwarya's father Chandrika Prasad Rai, a former Bihar minister, and her mother Poornima Rai, who is an assistant professor in Patna Women's College.
