Chandrababu Naidu's son attacked with beer bottle, 12 held

Hyderabad, April 22: Just a day after

's son Nara Lokesh was attacked with a beer bottle by a Telangana Rastra Samiti member, the police arrested 12 people in the case. The incident happened at the Pebberu mandal and violence broke out after the incident.

The police has booked cases against both TRS and TD workers under various sections of the IPC for rioting and unlawful assembly. Police has slapped charges against two others for attacking a policeman during the tussle. TRS leaders P. Yella Reddy and Shiva Sai had allegedly attacked head constable Sagar during the scuffle.

Lokesh was addressing a gathering in Pebberu mandal on Sunday night when the dramatic incident took place. Although he escaped unhurt, two vehicles were damaged.
