Chandigarh stalking case: Who was the other person with Vikas Barala that night?
Vikas Barala, son of Haryana BJP chief Subhash Barala, and his friend, Ashish Kumar, on Wednesday were arrested again after the Chandigarh police added Sections 365 and 511 of the IPC in the FIR registered already against them for allegedly stalking and harassing a young woman on streets of Chandigarh last week end.

Vikas and Ashish were arrested on the charge of stalking the woman on last Friday night but released later.

Ashish is a law graduate from a college in Hisar. He has given several government exams and is now looking for job. According to villagers, Ashish has lost a lot of money in the stock market due to which he had to sell a major portion of the family land, leaving around five acres.
Ashish comes from a farming background in Bhiwani's Barsi Jattan village, 250 km from Chandigarh. He lost his father three years ago while his mother is diagnosed with epilepsy and hysteria.
It was this law college where he met Vikas and they became good friends. The day before they left for Chandigarh, Ashish had called up to his cousin Manmohan and told that he will go and come back soon. A day later, both were arrested.
