Chair on which Modi sat up for sale, bid touches Rs 4L
No, it is not a fake news. The bid has already touched Rs 4L.
A chair on which Modi, Gujarat chief minister and BJP's prime ministerial candidate sat during Agra election rally is now up for sale. To the glee of the seller, the bid has gone up to Rs 4.21 lakh. It is all junior leaders of BJP who are engaged in this 'chair' war.
However, senior party leaders are not too happy with the news. The matter should be put to an end as "seats were not sold in the party, one has to work to get it", a senior BJP leader responded, according to sources.
Party corporator Pramod Upadhyaya, who provided the furniture during the rally, said the latest bid that he has received is of Rs 4.21 lakh from a local dealer despite him refusing to sell the chair.
Many BJP MLAs and others have made bids of more than 1 lakh. "The chair used by Narendra Modi in my house will increase it's grace. I bid Rs 1,11,000 for it which later increased to Rs 1,25,000. The people want to connect to everything that has been graced by him," said BJP MLA Yogendra Upadhyay., reported IBN.
