New Delhi, Mar 7: The Centre today transferred over a dozen IAS officers of Delhi government, including Shakuntala Gamlin who has been appointed as Chief Secretary of Arunachal Pradesh.
Gamlin, currently Principal Secretary with Delhi government's Power Department, had been at loggerheads with the AAP government after she was appointed acting chief Secretary of Delhi by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
She was on leave ever since a tug of war erupted between the Arvind Kejriwal government and the Centre over her appointment.
Arunachal Pradesh Chief Secretary Ramesh Negi has been transferred to the Delhi government with immediate effect, official sources said. Besides, Delhi government's finance secretary S N Sahai and environment secretary Ashwani Kumar have been transferred to Goa.
Senior IAS officer Arvind Ray was transferred to Mizoram. Apart from that, IAS officers from other states have been transferred to the Delhi government, the release added.
