Celebrate V-day as per Indian culture: BJP leader
Indore (MP), Feb 15: Madhya Pradesh Minister and BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya on Feb 15 said Valentine's Day should be celebrated "as per Indian culture" by expressing one's love to parents.
"If the Indian youth decides to celebrate any festival of the world on the lines of Indian culture, it will raise the importance of that festival," Vijayvargiya said on the sidelines of an event here.

"Valentine's Day is meant for expressing love. One can express their love to their family as well. But when few people celebrate it according to foreign culture then it becomes an issue," he added.
On Hindu outfits protesting against Valentine's Day, he said, "Opinions can also be expressed through positive programmes."
