The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the Class 10 and 12 results on May 13, 2025. Students who are dissatisfied with their results will soon have the opportunity to apply for verification and re-evaluation through the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in.

Before applying for re-evaluation, students are required to first apply for verification of marks. Only after receiving a scanned copy of their evaluated answer book can they proceed with the re-evaluation process.

CBSE Marks Verification 2025: How to Apply

  • Go to the official website - cbse.gov.in.
  • Click on the "Apply for Verification" link.
  • Select your class (10 or 12) and log in using your roll number and date of birth.
  • Pay a processing fee of ₹500 per subject.
  • The result of the verification (increase or decrease in marks, if any) will be updated in the student's login account.

Obtaining a Photocopy of the Answer Sheet

  • Visit the official CBSE website.
  • Click on the "Apply for Answer Book" section.
  • Log in with the same credentials used for verification.
  • Pay ₹500 per subject to obtain the scanned copy.
  • Students will receive the answer sheet in their login portal. All personal information regarding the examiner or evaluator will be masked.
  • It is mandatory to obtain the scanned copy before applying for re-evaluation.

CBSE Re-evaluation 2025: How to Apply
Go to cbse.gov.in.

  • Click on the "Apply for Re-evaluation" option.
  • Log in using the same credentials used earlier.
  • Pay ₹100 per question you wish to get re-evaluated.
  • A different examiner will re-check the selected questions.
  • Any changes in marks will be reflected in the student's login account.

Note: Re-evaluation can only be requested once. No further review or appeal will be entertained after this process.

Students are advised to follow the steps in sequence - first apply for verification, then request a copy of the answer book, and finally proceed with the re-evaluation if required.
