About CBSE Board Exams 2025

The Class 10 board exams will start on 15th February and conclude on 18th March. The Class 12 exams will also commence on 15th February and end on 4th April. Both exams will be held in a single shift, starting at 10:30 AM.

CBSE has made sure that there is a sufficient gap between two subjects typically chosen by students in both classes. The board has prepared the date sheet for over 40,000 subject combinations to ensure that no two subject exams take place on the same day.

This is the first time that CBSE has announced the theory exam dates 86 days before the start of the exams.

Around 44 lakh students from 8,000 schools across India and abroad are eligible to appear for the Class 10 and Class 12 exams in 2025.

Practical examinations and internal assessments in winter-bound schools took place from 5th November to 5th December 2024, while in other schools, these exams began on 1st January 2025.

For further updates, students and parents are advised to regularly check the official CBSE website.
