CBSE 10th class results postponed, date to be decided
New Delhi, May 27: As the Class X students all over the country, who appeared in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board exams 2015, waited anxiously for their results, it was announced on Wednesday, May 27, that the results have been delayed.
Class 10th students were expecting their result to be declared by 12 noon today. Due to unknown reasons, declaration of results has been postponed.

Earlier in the day, CBSE also removed a notification from its website that said Class 10 results will be announced on May 27.
There are reports that CBSE may announce results either on May 28 or May 29.

A total of 13,73,853 students appeared for the class 10 board examination this year. Class X examination took place from March 2 to March 26.
The CBSE result for Class 10 will be in the form of Cumulative Grade Points Average (CGPA), the aggregate of grade points earned in all the subjects excluding the sixth additional subject.

Enter your roll number and date of birth. Click on submit. You can check your result.

In 2014, girls had outshone boys. Girls had a pass percentage of 99.06 percent, compared to 98.74 percent of boys. Last year, the overall pass percentage was 98.87 percent.
The highest pass percentage, 99.96 percent, was from Thiruvananthapuram. CBSE, established in 1962, is the national board of education for public and private schools and conducts final examinations for Class 10 and 12.

A total of 23.89 lakh students registered for the 2015 CBSE board examinations as compared to 22.65 lakh students in 2014 and 21.76 lakh students in 2013.
