CBI summons Karti Chidambaram again
The ED had filed a criminal case against the Mukerjea couple, INX media and others under various sections of the PMLA.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) once again summoned Karti Chidambaram and his associates in connection with INX media kickbacks case probe.
CBI has asked Karti Chidambaram to appear at the CBI HQ on 21 July in the INX media case, ANI reported quoting sources.

Karti, son of senior Congress leader P Chidambaram, and his associates were summoned earlier this week but they failed to appear and did not notify CBI about it.
In the month of May, the CBI had carried out searches at the homes and offices of Karti across four cities for allegedly receiving money from the media firm (INX media) owned by the Mukerjeas' to scuttle a tax probe.
The ED had filed a criminal case against the Mukerjea couple, INX media and others under various sections of the PMLA.
According to investigative agaencies, Karti allegedly received money from INX Media for "using his influence" to manipulate a tax probe against it in a case of violation of Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) conditions to receive investment from Mauritius.
