CBI Summons Ex-NCB Officer Sameer Wankhede On May 24
Former Mumbai NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede has been summoned once again by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to appear before them on May 24.
The CBI intends to question him regarding allegations of framing Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, in a drugs case, as well as his alleged involvement in bribery.

Wankhede has already been interrogated by the agency on two previous occasions.
In relation to the FIR filed by the CBI in the Cordelia cruise drug bust bribery case, the Bombay High Court has granted interim relief to Wankhede, extending protection from coercive action until June 8.
Furthermore, the court has prohibited him from engaging with the media concerning the case.
The vacation bench, consisting of Justices Abhay Ahuja and Milind Sathaye, has instructed Wankhede to comply with any future requests from the investigating officer to attend the CBI office.
