CBI Raids RJD's Kiran Devi, Arun Yadav In Land-For-Job Scam
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is conducting searches at nine locations in Bihar's Patna and Arrah linked to Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leaders Kiran Devi and Arun Yadav in connection with the land-for-jobs case.
The probe agency also raided locations linked to a man named Prem Chand Gupta in Noida, Delhi and Gurugram.

"CBI raids underway at nine locations in Bihar's Patna and Arrah related to RJD MLA Kiran Devi and former RJD MLA Arun Yadav along with raids at locations related to a man, Prem Chand Gupta in Noida, Delhi and Gurugram, in the land-for-job case," tweeted news agency ANI quoting sources.
Kiran Devi, wife of former RJD MLA leader Arun Yadav is considered a close aide of RJD chief Lalu Prasad.
What is land for job scam?
The land for job scam occurred in the rail railway recruitment processes when Lalu Prasad was the Railways minister from 2004 to 2009.
The CBI has accused the RJD supremo of offering Group D railway positions in exchange for land plots in the names of family members, including his daughters and son Tejashwi Yadav.
