CBI director does it again, caught snoozing during PM Modi’s speech
Guwahati, Nov 30: CBI director Ranjit Sinha has done it again. A day after he was caught snoozing during the key national security meet chaired by Home Minister, the CBI director was again seen on national television nodding off during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speech.
According to media reports, at a time when PM Modi was advocating the need for alert, accountable, reliable and responsive police, Sinha was seen nodding off several times.

Sinha, who is the head of country's premier investigating agency, was caught sleeping on his chair during Home Minister Rajnath's speech on militant threat on Saturday also.
Meanwhile, the CBI spokesperson has refused to comment of the video showing Sinha snoozing during PM's speech. The agency's spokesperson has added that Sinha does not have any health problem that would cause him to drop off.
The top brass of the country's police forces have gathered in the remote northeastern state of Assam this weekend for a major conference on national security issues.
Sinha is set to retire on December 2. Recently, the Supreme Court had asked him to recuse himself from the 2G case after reports that he privately met people connected with the case came to light.
Addressing the meet, PM Modi said, "I have a concept of SMART Police in my mind." He further said, "S stands for strict and sensitivity, M for modern and mobility, A for alert and accountable, R for reliable and responsive, and T for tech-savvy and trained," explaining his vision.
Directors and inspectors general of police from all states and union territories, heads of paramilitary forces, officials from the Intelligence Bureau and all chief ministers of the northeastern states took part in two-day 49th conference in Guwahati.
