Ex-Principal Charged with Evidence Tampering in Medic Rape-Murder Case by CBI

The semi-nude body of the woman postgraduate trainee was found on August 9 in the hospital's seminar hall. Mondal faces charges of destruction of evidence and delaying the lodging of the FIR. He has been questioned eight times previously, each time providing different versions of events. Following his arrest, he underwent a customary post-arrest medical test.

Previous Arrests and Court Orders

The central agency had applied for Ghosh's remand in court, which has instructed jail authorities to produce him for CBI custody.
