Caution alert at Doklam: Heavy troop build up along Indo-China border
While there has been an increase in troops along the Indo-China border at the actual face off site there are still only 350 soldiers.

The decision was attributed to China's aggressive rhetoric and to a careful analysis of the existing confrontation.
Neither India nor China has shown any sign of backing off from a face-off that began nearly two months ago along the Sikkim border when Indian soldiers entered the Doklam plateau to stop the Chinese army from constructing a road.
While a top level flag meeting between major-general rank officers from India and China was held at the Nathu La border, the same was inconclusive.
China remained adamant that India should withdraw its troops from Doklam. India insisted that the construction equipment must be removed from the side. Although the meeting remained inconclusive, experts view this as a good sign as efforts are being made to reduce tensions at the area.
While there has been an increase in troops along the Indo-China border at the actual face off site there are still only 350 soldiers. The Chinese however have added 1,500 soldiers beyond the standoff site as part of its aggressive posture.
Official sources say that the military level alert had been raised as a matter of caution. This was being done due to the sensitivity of the matter, the sources also added.
