Caught on camera: Tiger mauls estate worker
Coimbatore, March 13: The image of the tiger, which reportedly mauled an estate worker to death two days ago, was captured on one of the cameras set up in Devarsolai area.
Immediately after the 53-year old migrant worker from Jharkhand was found killed by the carnivore, forest department officials with assistance of police and special task force, had installed 10 cameras and four cages at strategic points and also carried out search.

One of the cameras' image showed the tiger, which has a deep cut in its front leg, is moving in a slower speed, police said.
Considering the slower and limping movement, it was decided to place two more cages on its possible path for easy prey and also deploy more forces to capture it by transquilising it, they said.
