In the viral video, students took turns slapping their classmate under the teacher's encouragement to "hit him harder." At one point, she even instructed a student to target the Muslim student's waist after he had already been slapped.

The student's father informed India Today that he withdrew his son from the school and reached an understanding with the school authorities. As per their agreement, he refrained from filing a police complaint, and the school committed to refunding his son's admission fees.

However, with the video gaining widespread attention, the police initiated an investigation into the matter. The Superintendent of Mansurpur Police, SP Satyanarayan Prajapat, stated that they spoke with the school's principal and are actively looking into the video's contents.

The SP explained, "Police were alerted to the video through social media. In the footage, a female teacher instructed other students to physically harm their fellow classmate because he had not memorized a mathematical table. Disturbing remarks are audible in the video as well. The police conducted an inquiry into the video and engaged with the school's principal."

He went on to clarify, "It has come to light that the female teacher commented that mothers of Muslim students who do not pay attention to their children's studies inadvertently lead them astray." The senior police officer informed that the education department has been informed, and appropriate actions will be taken against the teacher.

Shubham Shukla, a representative of the Department of Basic Education, reported that a team has been assembled to conduct a comprehensive investigation into both the teacher's actions and the school's management.
