Caught on camera:Men holding BJP flags vandalise coffee shop in Kerala in the name of moral policing

Kerala, Oct 24: A group of activists carrying BJP flags were caught on camera vandalising a popular coffee shop, Downtown, in Kozhikode in Kerala.

In the video, the alleged BJP supporters are seen rushing into the coffee shop and destroying its windows and furniture.

As per reports, the attackers are said to be the members of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha. They have reportedly told the police that they are campaigning against "immoral activities" in restaurants and coffee shops.

Reportedly, the police have registered a case against the attackers. The shop has been damaged badly in the attack by alleged BJP supporters on Thursday evening.

As per reports, police also claims it to be a case of moral policing.

The shop which has been vandalised would stay open till late night and was popular with youngsters, especially amongst students of Indian Institute of Management and National Institute of Technology.

Congress leader Ajay Maken also tweeted about the incident and said, "Watch how BJP supporters vandalise a coffee shop in Kerala for alleged immoral activities. "
