Caught On Camera: 20-Year-Old Woman Killed By Father In Amritsar, Body Dragged Through Village

A man has been arrested for allegedly murdering his 20-year-old daughter after she spent a day away from home. Shockingly, he then fastened her body to a motorcycle and dragged it through his village in Amritsar, as revealed by the police on Friday. Subsequently, he discarded the body on a railway track.

This horrendous act was captured by CCTV cameras in the vicinity, documenting the man pulling the body using the motorcycle.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Kuldeep Singh, the tragic incident unfolded in Muchhal village, falling under Jandiala town. The accused, known as Bau, is a Nihang Sikh and works as a laborer.

DSP Singh recounted that Bau's daughter had left home on Wednesday without informing the family and returned the following day. Angered by her actions, Bau reportedly assaulted her upon her return and then ruthlessly ended her life using a sharp-edged weapon.

The man has been charged under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for murder and has been taken into custody, the DSP confirmed.
