Catholic forum welcomes ban on Sri Ram Sene in Goa

The police inputs too pointed out that there would be law and order situation in Goa if Sene chief Pramod Muthalik set up his base in the peace loving state, AGCMF convener Bernabe Sapeco said.
He alleged that Muthalik, known to foment trouble using religion as a tool, was creating controversy in Goa to popularise himself as a saviour of Hindus.
"Practically all Goans cutting across religions strongly opposed the fundamentalist Muthalik to open his outfit in Goa to disturb the communal harmony in the state," he said.
Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar had on Wednesday said in the state Assembly that the outfit had been banned from setting up a branch in Goa after the police gave an adverse report about its activities.
